With regard to the scene people are discussing, it’s used in a symbolic context in a distressing fantasy context, so whether or not the dog is shot, a dog doesn’t actually die within the context of the film
I'd argue that Emma was in a way abandoned as a child. While her parents didn't actually leave her it is concerning that they didn't notice her behavior and that something was going on. To me they seemed to be absent at the very least.
(Spoiler) It isn’t depicted, but a character admits to having once locked a disabled child in a closet in the woods and left him alone until he was found the next day. The perpetrator was also a child.
A character sexually assaults a coworker who then repeatedly expressed they did not want it and is uncomfortable. It is very clear coercion and the film does not give accountability.
In a discussion about whether to fire their DJ for abusing drugs, they ask where the line is for disinviting someone. Someone suggests if they were a pedophile, and a back-and-forth riff on that topic ensues
Spoiler: Charlie sexually assaults his coworker and nearly rapes her, she is visibly unwilling and uncomfortable the rest of the film and repeatedly expresses she did not want it. It is clear he takes advantage of her and coerces her.
at the very end of the movie charlie makes a joke about having saved a woman's baby from being kidnapped (and eaten) by a guy, but it clearly didn't happen
A childhood friend's death is described twice. The first time is very brushed over with no details. The second time, there is a flashback scene with some imagery. Another child's death is briefly described with a short flashback of a memorial and grieving students.
at the very end of the movie charlie makes a joke about having saved a woman's baby from being kidnapped (and eaten) by a guy, but it clearly didn't happen
Just came from the premiere. There’s 3 vomit scenes. Will do my best to relay without spoiling. The first scene happens when the four of them are drinking wine. A waitress comes back and asks them if they need anything else. LOOK AWAY bc this is the worst lne. The second one happens when Charlie is asking Emma follow up questions, and it happens very suddenly while emma is sitting across from him in a chair. The third time is towards the end of the movie. Charlie is leaning against a wall and music is playing— pretty easy to see coming.
at the very end of the movie charlie makes a joke about having saved a woman's baby from being kidnapped by a guy, and mentioned the guy wanted to eat the baby. but it clearly didn't happen
there's no explicit talk of suicide. but during one of the scenes with teenage emma, she's making a video of herself on computer that was intended to be released after she went through with the shooting and one of the things she says implies she would have turned the gun on herself– "by the time you see this, i'll already be gone" or something along those lines
in the beginning at a tasting dinner with charlie, emma, mike, and rachel. rachel tells everyone how she locked her "slow" neighbor in a smelly, abandoned RV and left him there overnight and never went back to check on him or told his parents. the kid was found but she doesn't know what happened to him afterwards. it's very f****d up and im shocked how easily the characters just brushed over it.
SPOILERS theres one scene towards the beginning where zendayas character has a little anxiety attack because of the stress of her relationship, i think it was because she realized she was actually in a relationship and not just something casual because it happens after a coworker asks her who she was talking to and she says "my boyfriend, I guess" and then starts freaking out. Not too bad and super short
3. 00:35:35 - 00:37:33 VHS effects. Can also be seen throughout the movie here and there. Not particularly flashy.
4. 00:37:43 - 00:38:49 camera flashes on background when Emma and Charlie come to the photographer. Here are the flashes somewhat dimmed and rather in the background 5. 00:39:03 - 00:41:46 camera flashes full portrait - the continuation of the scene but now these flashes are during the photoshoot, full portrait and strobe mode. Flashy. (Can also be seen in trailers)
6. 01:16:20 - 01:17:12 camera flashes at the venue 7. 01:22:12 - 01:22:19 camera flashes at the venue 8. 01:34:57 - 01:35:08 camera flashes at the venue

A character relays a story of locking a “slow” child in a closet and running away, when talking about the worst thing they’ve ever done. Later, another person confronts them on locking a “mentally challenged” child in a closet, and they defend it, saying they never said they were “mentally challenged.”
In a flashback sequence in the beginning, Charlie thinks of all the times he’s had sex with Emma. Various sequences showing Zendaya in various forms of undress, with implied nudity, flash by quickly.
In another scene, Misha bends over, pulls her dress up, and reveals her naked backside, but from the profile.
they describe emma's neighbor dying in a car crash, while they are explaining they cut to shots of a crashed car and the neighbor (who is a little girl) bloodied and unconscious
The movie has a strong gun theme, and an instance of gun violence is briefly mentioned, but a gun is never shown firing at another person. Causes and effects of gun violence are discussed many times. Imagery of guns and threats of gun usage are repeated.
There are a few scattered scenes with brief blood, mostly in an artistic or dreamlike scenario. There's a longer scene of a bloodied person after getting beat up, but it's not gratuitous.
