They’re fully digital animals/creatures (not realistic looking), but they’re presumably sentient. Someone tortures them with digital rocks and fire, assuming they aren’t real, and they act scared and hurt. It’s very low-res, but kind of horrible.

Hated in the Nation is absolutely one you'll want to skip if you find swarms triggering. Black Mirror is one of my favourite shows even though it's filled to the brim with triggers, but that episode is extremely panic attack inducing and arguably not one of the stronger ones. My recommendation is skip all together if you're apprehensive.

Follows a kidnapping. Very very strong suicidal ideation which will trigger anyone who has suffered from these thoughts. Threatens to kill the kidnapped man who looks to be around 20 years old and himself several times it is very triggering and I recommend not watching if you have suffered from these thoughts as i wish it came with a warning.

In episode "Loch Henry," a sadistic, evil trio kidnaps & horribly tortures a young couple on vacation. This is discussed & shown. It is so disgusting, it's something I'd never ever choose to watch. I chose to watch this episode because (at that time) nothing was on dogdie about torture. I don't watch torture. I'm not going to watch any more of this show. The first episode was wonderful & the episodes with John Hamm were very good. But this episode was disgusting, I can't get the horrible images out of my head. If you hate torture, do not watch

In the episode Black Museum, in the third story of this anthology episode, a life-like (and possibly consciousness) hologram is forced to undergo holographic torture via an electric chair - being restrained to the device, and unable to escape.

Although the characters are not directly a D.I.D. system, a plotline involves a different consciousness than expected controlling the body to do violent actions and attempt to sleep with the body's wife. To systems, these could be upsettingly similar to the stereotypes of violent headmates and headmates trying to S/A the body's partner. Additionally, the body's family is depicted as incredibly uncomfortable with the 'other' personality controlling the body.

Someone cuts/barely stabs their hand with a shard of glass, and later threatens to stab themself in the neck. Both are shown, but not bloody or forceful; It just shows the skin being prodded.
