I don’t know why people are voting yes to animals dying or harmed in this movie. There are no actual animals in this movie other than a goldfish and it’s fine.
The only “animals” harmed are large, non-human, stuffed anthropomorphic characters and they are treated as people. It’s akin to saying animals are harmed in Five Nights at Freddy’s because the animatronics get hurt.

Not a traditional animal but two animal mascots in different instances, an evil mascot and a good mascot which might be more upsetting but not in the same way an actual animal getting abandoned would be upsetting.

No one ever actually throws up but as a recovering emetaphobe there were a few things that bothered me a little, I never felt like I had to turn away or cover my ears or anything but there's a good few times that characters cough up blood. Characters that do in order (as far as I remember) is the train, the mail man, and Buddy

No one wets or soils themselves but a scene includes them talking about peeing and one of them pees outdoors and you can see the stream but nothing else. It's very clear when it's going to happen so you can skip it, lasts approximately 1-2 minutes.

I disagree with the majority of no. Without spoilers it's a visual of Buddy getting stuck because of his size but personally as a fat person I thought the visual was more silly than triggering because it's a silly unicorn mascot with very unrealistic proportions.

MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD
SERIOUSLY
the ending was absolutely not hopeful lol. Her mother died, all of her friends died, her two companions died and she ended up in a foreign country with a family that speaks a different language. Traumatised as hell and bloody in a foreign country would not make me hopeful. Also the tv setup implied that there are still kids getting kidnapped.
