The gym teacher mistreats his students and is really controlling in a way that gets really close to physical and sexual abuse.

Two lovebirds, a presumably, fictional rat and some fish. One of the lovebirds kills the other and then combusts into flames. The fish are boiled in their aquarium. The rat is attacked and eaten by a cat, both having been created by Freddy.

My interpretation is that this question implies an already dead animal, like a deer that was previously run over. The bird is under "does an animal die" bc the bird is seen blowing up and the death is shown. The other bird that was in the cage and was dead would fit this question of "is there a dead animal"
We don't see the first bird die but he is a dead animal

There is a scene where Jesse is in class and what appears to be a Boa of some kind slithers and wraps itself around him, caused by Freddy.

Sort of. I believe Freddy is supposed to be a ghost, but it's definitely not what people think of as ghosts in movies.

There's a lot. The gym teacher chews gum all the time and there's a bunch of jokes that boil down to 'Grady chews with his mouth open'

No but as mentioned in other triggers, there is a lot of homoerotic/homophobic subtext to many of the scenes.

The gay gym teach who Jesse finds in "a queer S and M bar". As a side note, there is a fascinating documentary called "Scream, Queen" by the actor who (who is gay) who played the main character about the queerness of this movie.

Not explicitly, but I'd warn that there's just a whole lot of homophobic (and homoerotic) subtext which could be upsetting to some.

Schneider is the “gay pedophile” stereotype and the possibly queer protagonist is possessed by a pedophile for much of the film.

no idea what the other comment meant by tame, there are many sexual comments and references, and [spoilers] one character is killed after being stripped naked and spanked/whipped with a towel. late in the movie, there's also a sexual scene where the main character, jesse, grabs at lisa's breasts and kisses down her slightly exposed body

Sexual Assault Back to Top

Not per say. A P.E. teacher is talked about as being predatory towards schoolboys in the beginning section of the film. There's also a scene that caught me off guard, where, (SPOILERS) Freddy grabs at a girl's hips and leg and bites her leg. While not explicit, it could definitely trigger someone, what with the grabbing and upsetting nature of the scene.

There are two scenes where a bus is driven in an unsafe manner. (SPOILERS) In the beginning of the movie a bus is driven into a desert and ends up above a large fiery pit, presumably falling into it. At the end of a movie, a bus is driven recklessly into the same area, putting its passengers in danger.
